Corrective Exercises/Self-Management Skill
At Concussion and Whiplash Clinic we teach our patients how to perform special “neurologically integrated” exercises and self-management skills that help reestablish effective connections between the brain and body, strengthening the areas which may be causing you pain. Many of these corrective exercises, when performed in the comfort of your own home, will help improve the effectiveness of your care at the office.
Pain such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches are often caused by compensatory changes in the body when coping with injury. This causes additional stress over time and prolongs recovery.
